Public relations

Lauren has been involved in a number of successful projects, including the launch of Good magazine, setting up business functions for groups of 200+, sourcing gift bags, writing press releases and managing publicity. Lauren has also catered for high-profile guests, including Pavarotti and The All Blacks.


Lauren has worked on marketing, distribution and remittance of magazines. Her skill sets include POS copy and displays, addressing magazine audiences and targeting new markets. In 2007, Lauren took up the position as marketing manager of New Zealand publishing house, HB Media. During this time she continued to utilise her skills as a business journalist, writing across a variety of HB Media titles.


Lauren’s journalism and management skills easily translate into production of the best possible custom text for your business. Lauren has recently constructed website text for a major banking chain, produced collateral for government services and helped a variety of corporate clients to showcase their services across different media.


In 2007 Lauren began assisting affiliate publishing company, AUT Media, with production of seven book titles, over two years. This included liaising with authors and buyers, sourcing imagery, assisting with publicity, organising book launches and creating  promotional material. Lauren is also a published author herself.  In 2006, she was commissioned to write a guide about living in Auckland, which has since been published in the United Kingdom and Canada.
